Decision Support (DS) builds and maintains the central university data and reporting environment and enables OSU employees to connect to and understand the data they need to fulfill the core missions of the university.
Our Analytics and Business Intelligence (BI) Reporting services enable the OSU community's to use data as a strategic asset in decision making and operations. We connect users with data via interactive dashboards, standardized BI reports, ad hoc data requests, and self-service data tools. We build and support the enterprise data platform, validated reporting models, and data literacy education and support for the university. We currently support Tableau as an enterprise tool for self-service analytics and data visualization. Users can create customized reports and interactive dashboards, maps, and other presentation formats to discover data-informed business insights in Tableau and publish them to our private server to share within OSU.
