Oregon State University has a long history of supporting our local community and Oregon’s citizens. Every year in February, the university comes together and plans a wide variety of food and fund-raising activities to help the hungry. In coordination with the Governor’s State Employees Food Drive, OSU has significantly led the list of state contributors year-to-year.

Contributions to the 2020 OSU Corvallis Campus Food Drive benefit the non-profit agencies served by Linn-Benton Food Share.  These agencies include local food pantries, soup kitchens, emergency shelters, day care centers, shelter homes, and gleaning groups working to end food waste in Linn and Benton counties.

How Can Any One of Us Make a Difference?

There are several ways to contribute and participate. Your contributions help feed the hungry, and also count toward University Information and Technology's (UIT) contribution as part of OSU's food drive challenge! When contributing, please be sure to include "University Information and Technology" as your department. All contributing departments will be recognized at a closing ceremony co-led by President Ed Ray. Visit the OSU Food Drive website for more information on why food & funds both matter.
