As our name implies, we are all about building strategic, impactful digital experiences for students and faculty at Oregon State University.
Digital Research & Infrastructure (DRI) supports research and classroom instructional computing at Oregon State University, providing easy access to advanced high-performance computing (HPC) cluster, performance storage, data sharing, server housing space for research collocation and consultation services for remote cloud computing. In addition, DRI can provide training on the use of both on-site HPC resources as well large national HPC centers.
Infrastructure's mission provides a centralized IT infrastructure including expertise for physical and virtual Linux and Microsoft platforms. Additionally, we provide storage (on-prem/Azure) and backup services, architecture and access for Microsoft Azure cloud services. Finally, Infrastructure handles all OSU Tier 0 operations.
We bring the internet to the OSU community via in-Building connections, the wireless network and VPN, as well as provide telephones, telephone services and network data connections.
