UIT is delighted to invite the OSU community to our first Data Day

Data is a strategic asset for our university and critical to strengthening our ability to be a competitive leader in higher education and meet the needs of the next generation of learners.

Reliable, timely, and actionable data about student enrollment and success empowers our community to make data-informed decisions that help the university sustain growth and advance our missions. Over the last 2+ years, the UIT Data Team has worked in close collaboration with many stakeholders and partners to evolve and grow the way we think about and provide data for decision-making and action. The first OSU Data Day, The Art of Possibilities, is a showcase of those efforts as well as an opportunity for the OSU community to engage with and help continue to shape the future.

  • Several sessions will offer virtual options
  • On-site participants will be able to visit "booths" to explore some of the new tools
  • Special display by the OSU Libraries Special Collections and Archives Research Center on early data visualization documents
  • Come for the data and stay for dessert! We will have a data celebration at 2:30 pm featuring sweet treats
