Benefits of Microsoft 365

Prior to this move, students used Google while faculty and staff use Microsoft 365. Moving student email to Microsoft 365 provides valuable benefits, including:

  • Keep your email address. Your email address will stay the same so there are no worries about missed messages.

  • Stronger cyber security. Microsoft 365 offers a better ability to track and block malicious activity and better protect your privacy and personal information.

  • Centralized collaboration and calendaring. Integrating students into Microsoft 365 simplifies scheduling and collaboration with OSU faculty and staff.

  • Better mail delivery. Exchange prevents important emails, especially those between OSU faculty and students, from going to spam or junk.
