Beaver Hub features an array of functionalities tailored to the needs of Oregon State University. Some of the key features for student support professionals are:  

  • Student profile — Easily access student details, including academic information, recent messages, tasks, alerts, and appointments.  
  • Case management — Helps students quickly resolve questions and locate assistance or resources. 
  • Appointment management — Set appointment availability, then view, schedule, manage, and edit once booked. 
  • Assist in completing actions — Create and apply “tasks” and “success plans” for individuals or groups of students.  
  • Notifications — Help all users be aware of tasks, deadlines, and issues needing attention.

Frequently Asked Questions

Beaver Hub is an innovative and dedicated success tool to assist the university in building a more connected and integrated campus focused on the student experience.

Beaver Hub is replacing MyOregonState for students but not for staff currently. 

There are some conditions that have to be met for students to gain access to Beaver Hub. Please see below.

For all new students, Beaver Hub activation will occur if you are registered for up to two terms ahead of the current one. For example, if today is in Fall term 2023, you will be activated if your starting term is Winter or Spring term 2024. If your start term is Summer term of 2024 you will not be activated until Winter term 2024 begins.

Student Categories Registered for Orientation (START, Ecampus, etc) Registered for Course Notes

New Graduate Student

 

Beaver Hub account should be active within 4 hours of course registration.

Initial registration must be done via Banner Self Service Registration.

New Professional Student  

Beaver Hub account should be active within 4 hours of course registration.

Initial registration must be done via Banner Self Service Registration.

New Undergraduate Student Beaver Hub account should be active within 4 hours of course or 1 business day of Orientation registration, whichever comes first.
New Ecampus Non-Degree Student Beaver Hub account should be active within 4 hours of Course or 1 business day of Orientation registration, whichever comes first.
New Non-Degree Student (Not Ecampus)  

Beaver Hub account should be active within 4 hours of course registration.

Initial registration must be done via Banner Self Service Registration.

Student Readmitted for Upcoming Term     If readmission has been processed by the Office of the Registrar, the student’s Beaver Hub account should be active within 4 hours.
Current Undergraduate Student (Registered within last 4 terms)     Beaver Hub account should be active.
Inactive Undergraduate Student (Not Registered within last 4 terms)     Not in Beaver Hub until student moves into one of the above Student Categories
